History of Our Group
Late Shri Ratanlal K. Gupta, an entrepreneur with a vision, had realized very early in life that business was all about spotting opportunities, and seizing them wherever they surfaced. He joined an eminent transport company in 1965 and quickly learnt the ropes of business. Having gathered experience and knowledge about the transport industry, he established his own company under the name of All India Roadways in 1983. Eventually, he expanded and diversified the business to include Formaldehyde, Kraft Paper, Melamine and Chemicals for the Lamination Industry.

In order to deal with the different segments in a more efficient manner, he established the following companies:

• M/s. Fakirsons Papchem Pvt. Ltd.
• M/s. Balaji Formalin Pvt. Ltd. (an ISO 9001 company, manufacturing "Formaldehyde").
  

Thus came into being the Burakia Group of Companies. Each of the above companies has been allocated an independent charge of diversified activities. Sound modern management practices are given primacy within individual companies of the Group and also at the corporate level.
